Michael Kondracki entered the landscape industry in 1984, with a focus on
landscape design and construction. In 1987 he co-founded his first
design/build company, which then led to the development of Michael
William Associates, Inc.
Michael’s experience comes primarily from
the countless number of projects designed and installed by him, which
range from modest sized homes, to estates, to expansive corporate
campuses.

“It
is always my objective to have a landscape concept that is an
attraction, not only during the prime times of the season, but during
the winter months as well. Additionally, my design concepts exploit the
use of topography and curve, while arranging plant material in mass.
Regardless of a clients likeness and taste, be it formal, natural,
European, or traditional, I always want it to be unique and special.”
From 1991 through 1996, Michael designed
several displays at the New England Flower Show which resulted
in earning the following awards, (1991 & 1993 Associated Landscape
Contractors of Massachusetts Award, 1992 Emily Seaber Parcher Award,
1993 Design Critics Council of Massachusetts Award, 1994 & 1996 Boston
Globes Peoples Choice Award).
Later, Michael became enlisted by
Massachusetts Horticultural Society to serve on the N.E. Flower Show
Exhibitors Committee, which scouted and recruited the areas newest
upcoming design talent. Michael is currently a member of the
Association of Professional Landscape Designers, Associated Landscape
Contractors of Massachusetts, and a certified Professional Landscape
Lighting Systems Design and Installation Specialist.
With his then company expanding into more
of the commercial and public environment, Michael chose to step down as
President, and return to his passion of designing custom landscape
themes and concepts which today continue to receive high praise.
“Michael William Associates knows no
limitations in its ability to design any size project. My years of
experience in this industry have exposed me to all varieties and size
projects, not only in designing them but building them as well. The
foundation of MWA is built on a group of passionate professionals, with
the experience needed to meet the expectations of its clients. I
founded MWA to offer the marketplace an alternative choice from the high
priced landscape architectural firms, or the in-experienced general
purpose landscaper, to the large in-personal landscape construction
groups of today”.
